1. Introduction

Welcome to Cardiwan Car Rental LLC. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
Please read them carefully before making a booking. These terms apply to all users of our platform, including visitors, customers, and business partners.

2. Eligibility

To rent a car from Cardiwan Car Rental LLC, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (age limits may vary by car category).

  • Hold a valid driving license (UAE license for residents, international license for tourists).

  • Provide valid identification documents, such as an Emirates ID or passport.

  • Complete payment and security deposit requirements before vehicle handover.

3. Rental Agreement

  • All rentals are subject to a signed rental contract at the time of vehicle delivery or pickup.

  • The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, including any damages, fines, or violations.

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, with agreed fuel levels and at the specified time.

  • Any late returns will incur extra hourly or daily charges.

4. Payment & Deposits

  • Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or cash, as accepted by the company.

  • A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. Refunds are processed within 30 days after checking for traffic fines, Salik charges, and vehicle inspection.

  • Prices are exclusive of VAT (5%) unless stated otherwise.

5. Insurance & Coverage

  • All vehicles include basic insurance coverage as per UAE law.

  • Additional insurance options (such as CDW or full coverage) can be added for extra protection.

  • Insurance becomes invalid if the vehicle is driven by an unauthorized driver or under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before rental start may be eligible for a refund.

  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) are non-refundable.

  • Refunds for security deposits or overcharges are processed within the stated timeframe in our Return & Refund Policy.

7. Prohibited Uses

Renters are strictly prohibited from:

  • Using the vehicle for racing, off-roading, towing, or illegal activities.

  • Allowing unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle.

  • Smoking inside the vehicle (cleaning fees apply).

  • Exceeding mileage limits stated in the contract.

Violations may result in fines, penalties, or insurance invalidation.

8. Traffic Fines & Salik

The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and Salik (toll) charges incurred during the rental period.
These charges will be deducted from the security deposit upon settlement.

9. Liability

Cardiwan Car Rental LLC is not responsible for:

  • Personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

  • Delays caused by accidents, traffic, or government regulations.

  • Mechanical failures beyond our control; however, a replacement vehicle will be provided when possible.

10. Modifications

Cardiwan Car Rental LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be handled under the jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.
